Commercial / Industrial Liquid Waste Management (Click Here)

Providing facility managers with recommended and cost efficient solutions to better address liquid waste management. Helping facility managers make environmentally responsible decisions while working in partnership with state and local regulators.

Evaluating industrial waste processes in order to determine the waste characterization for acceptable approved disposal facility. All industrial waste that is generated will have the appropriate documentation for the disposal facility.

Industrial waste liquids are stored either in drums or holding tanks and are removed with liquid vacuum trucks. The volume of waste removed varies for industrial facilities. Their capacity of the liquid vacuum trucks vary from 3,500 gallons to trailers containing 8,000 gallons.

All work performed and waste disposal are handled following strict Local, State and Federal regulations. All documentations are provided from cradle to grave from customers site to an approved disposal facility.

Confined Space Entry (Click Here)

An underground working area that has limited access making it dangerous

a) enclosed or partially enclosed

b) not intended for human occupancy,

c) limited or restricted means for entry or exit. (Examples: holding tanks, storm drains, cesspools, etc.)

Certification can be proformed by an Entry Supervisor who, under O.S.H.A regulations ensures that the space is safe to enter and conditions are controlled.

According to the Occupation Safty and Health Administration, a confined space entry has four charactreristics

Contains or has the potential to contain a hazardous atmosphere
Contains a material that has the potential for engulfing the entrant
The internal conditions that might cause an entrant to be trapped or asphyxiated by converging walls or by a floor that slopes downward and tapers to a smaller section.
Contains any other recognized serious safety or health hazards.
Space or work activities that can pose serious safety hazards (heat, noise, vapors, etc)

Contaminated Soil Disposal (Click Here)

Suspected sites are investigated (Preliminary Site Assessment) to determine if any contamination of waste is present and is significant to public health or to the environment. Once a site is deemed to require remediation it is then prioritized based on the degree of impact to human health and the surrounding environment.

The agencies range from DEC, EPA, NCDOH and SCDOH. These agencies are then notified based on the degree and type of contamination that are present. The appropriate agencies are responsible for overseeing all aspects of site remediation from inception to completion.

All activities of these sites are closely monitored by these agencies. They are in place to protect and aggressively enforce the proper standards for a site to be deemed "cleaned up".

The responsible party incurs all costs associated with the remediation clean up efforts of their site.

Proper disposal of all waste is strictly monitored and enforced. Transportation of waste to an approved disposal facility is based on the type of contamination.

Roll-Off Services (Click Here)

The term "roll-off" and "container" specifies larger metal boxes, commonly used for commercial and industrial soil waste disposal. They are available in standard sizes 15, 20 and 30 yard containers. Roll-off containers are the most cost efficient solution in providing your waste transportation needs for large projects. Containers are available with liners and covers when required. Roll-off containers can directly transport contaminated soil to the proper disposal facilities.

Roll off services are commonly used to back fill storm drains and cesspools. Back fill is used to restore soil removed during a vactor or guzzler service.

Sanitary / Storm Drain System Maintenance (Click Here)

Storm Drain Maintenance

These systems transport and collect runoff rain water that may contain certain pollutants from parking lots and roads. Over extended periods of time these structures become impacted and clogged which results in flooding.

Restoring proper drainage of these structures requires maintenance. All rain water must be removed from structures to access the sand bottoms. Removal of water can be preformed with either a pump truck, trailer, or by trash pumping the water from one storm drain into an empty storm drain. Then a vactor/guzzler will remove the bottom sediment from these structures. Bank run soil is required to be placed back into structures to insure them from settling. Proper drainage will then be restored.

Cost for this service is inexpensive because soil removed can be disposed at a landfill.

Sanitary System Maintenance

These systems consist of septic tanks, grease traps and overflow leaching cesspools. Septic tanks and grease traps should be maintained by monthly or quarterly services which remove the solid waste. The leaching cesspools take the overflow liquids which drains into the ground through the sand bottoms of structures. Over time some of these solids make their way into the leaching cesspools. This clogs the sand bottoms and can destroy the drainage of the sanitary systems by creating system backups which require pumping.

Restoring proper drainage of these structures require maintenance. The removal of all liquids from leaching cesspools is necessary. Removal can be performed by a pump truck or trailer. Then a vactor/guzzler will remove the bottom sediment from these structures. Often, bank run soil is required to be placed back into leaching pools to insure them from settling.

This is a more costly option than a storm drain maintenance due to the soil disposal cost. This soil is considered a non-hazardous waste and is disposed at an approved transfer facility. This service will restore drainage and save on future costs because the need for excessive pumping from backups will no longer be an issue.

Vactor / Guzzler Services (Click Here)

Guzzler equipment is a powerful and efficient industrial vacuum loader system that can tackle the toughest cleaning and offloading applications. The Guzzler features a quiet blower and can be operated effectively in remote or inaccessible locations. Guzzler equipment has an extendable boom that extends the hose out further, enabling the operator to work over certain obstacles, such as ditches, walls and fences.

The Guzzler can handle the full spectrum of wet and dry materials from solids to dry bulk powders, liquids, slurries, and thick sludge. This material comes from industrial areas such as cement plants, mills, railroads, oil refineries, chemical facilities and power-generating stations. The guzzler is also equipped to handle simple applications such as storm drains and cesspools.

The Guzzler offloading application can dump contaminated material into roll-offs or directly into transfer facilities.
